Day 1<\/p>

Settling Down and Preparation Formalities<\/h3>

Preparation of Material, Settling down of Participant, Refreshments<\/p>

Module 1: My Confidence, My Stage<\/h3>

Understanding the Importance of Self- confidence in the success of public speaking delivery and personal expression<\/p>

Activity 1: I am Me<\/h3>

Participants will be given the front of the house to deliver information about them to help build confidence and self-esteem.<\/p>

Module 2: The power of Influence and Persuasion – How will I make people listen<\/h3>

Discussion on the importance on implying and delivering ideas that aims to influence, inspire and catch attention.<\/p>

Activity 2: The Blind Guide<\/h3>

3 Participants from each group will try to build a tower of Lego\/Building Blocks with alternate colors while 2 of them are blind folded. Only one of the team will have no blindfold and will serve as the captain. He would lead the 2 blindfolded members with his\/her voice as the source of instruction. One blindfolded participant will build while the other blind folded participant would relay the instruction.<\/p>

Synthesis Session<\/h3>

Summary and discussion on the importance of the previous session<\/p>

Module 3: Public Speaking and Its Structure<\/h3>

Discussion on the structure of public speaking, preparation techniques and key considerations of delivery.  <\/p>

Activity 3: My Crazy Story<\/h3>

Participant groups will create a story from one source topic<\/p>

Module 4: Construction and Delivery of the Speech<\/h3>

Session will focus on the ways of constructing the thought of the speech, identifying effective delivery strategies and personal preparations of delivery.<\/p>

Final Synthesis and Assignment Delivery<\/h3>

Participants will be given one of the following topics for discussion that will run for 5 to 10 minutes max.<\/p>

Day 2<\/p>

Activity 1: Delivery of Identified Topics through Public Presentation<\/h3>

Module 5: Merging Public Speaking and the Internet Superhighway<\/h3>

Requirements

  • An understanding of basic communication skills, delivery of ideas and social media interaction. <\/li>
  • Experience with client communication, customer relations and general public speaking and discussion. <\/li> <\/ul>
