NobleProg brings extensive experience to supporting clients in the following areas:
SHORT-TERM ENGAGEMENTS: Addressing critical and immediate technical challenges.
LONG-TERM ENGAGEMENTS: Embedding single or multiple consultants to assist with project delivery, spanning from initial planning through to implementation and final knowledge transfer.
RabbitMQ Case Studies:
Royal College of Psychiatrists
We recently completed a successful RabbitMQ consultancy engagement for the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK:
We engaged with several potential providers of RabbitMQ expertise. It was straightforward to select NobleProg to assist with scaling the website, as they immediately engaged by asking about previous steps taken and their outcomes. They joined us in narrowing down the areas for investigation, ensuring they possessed the correct skillset to advance the diagnostic process.
Following initial discussions, it was agreed that a candidate with strong RabbitMQ knowledge, alongside comfort in the .NET environment, was required. This was precisely the profile provided. Once granted access to the test site and code, the NobleProg consultant rapidly identified the primary issue impacting RabbitMQ connections and proposed both tactical and long-term architectural solutions.
Upon implementing the recommended RabbitMQ connection changes, load testing confirmed the immediate issue was resolved. However, questions remained regarding the manageability of the site's configuration options and a potential future bottleneck observed during testing. The consultant's ability to look beyond RabbitMQ and quickly comprehend the application itself was invaluable, providing not just an immediate fix but a significantly more manageable system that also addressed anticipated future bottlenecks.
In conclusion, we experienced an ideal consultancy relationship: one that first ensured a deep understanding of the issue to deploy the right skills, then delivered the required solution as quickly as practicable and within the estimated budget.

Requirement:
Design a RabbitMQ deployment topology that meets functional requirements while maintaining maximum simplicity and stability
Ensure the topology meets load requirements and absorbs load spikes, while also satisfying high-availability requirements.
Implement JMeter scripts (JMX files) to test the load on the RabbitMQ deployment.
Analyse results and optimise performance following load testing.
Deliverables: A document detailing the designed RabbitMQ topology. A document describing the RabbitMQ configuration for that specific topology. JMeter scripts. A document outlining the performance approach (including how to interpret performance and RabbitMQ behaviour under heavy load).
Outcome: All deliverables were successfully completed.
NobleProg received feedback from the client stating they were very pleased with the choice of consultant and the high standard of work performed. They were particularly impressed by how he interacted with the team, collaborating effectively and providing ongoing added-value guidance, which ensured successful knowledge transfer.
