- Introduction to SQL Server and working with SQL Server Management Studio.
- Utilising sublanguages such as DDL, DML, and DCL.
- Creating tables, defining data types, and establishing constraints.
- Executing INSERT, DELETE, and UPDATE statements.
- Employing SELECT queries and their associated operators.
- Using keywords such as NULL, NOT NULL, AND, OR, BETWEEN, EXISTS, ORDER BY, GROUP BY, and the HAVING clause.
- Exploring built-in functions, including mathematical, string, and datetime functions.
- Working with views and understanding their role in data access.
- Utilising joins, including various join types, to retrieve data from multiple tables.
- Working with subqueries, including correlated subqueries, and understanding the differences between subqueries and joins.
- Understanding Common Table Expressions (CTEs) and using recursive CTEs.
