DRAWING

  • Tablet or scanning: transferring drawings from paper to a computer, getting started with the software
  • Principles of drawing: light, perspective, colour theory in drawing and painting

TYPOGRAPHY

  • Digital vs print: preparing text for online publication

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Requirements: understanding what graphic designers need and what graphic output they can produce
  • Assembling assets: combining still images and preparing concepts and subtitles
  • Organisation: coordinating with co-designers
  • Control: managing work schedules and progress
